What are the requirements to rent a car?
Renters must be 25 years or older, or 30+ for select high-performance vehicles like the 2023 Corvette, and hold an active, valid driver's license. Turo's age policies apply.
Can I make changes to my booking?
Absolutely. However, all changes, including booking extensions or modifications, must be made through the Turo app before the change is due to take effect.
What if there's an issue with the car during my rental?
Please contact us at (941) 224-4508 immediately for assistance. Additionally, Turo support and roadside assistance can be reached at (415) 965-4525 for further help.
What is your smoking policy?
All vehicles are non-smoking. Fees for smoking include cleaning, damage repair, and air filter replacement if smoking occurs.
Are pets allowed in the vehicles?
To ensure the highest quality for all customers, pets are not permitted in our vehicles.
What should I do before returning the car?
The car should be returned clean, with the same level of fuel or charge, and in the same condition as at the start of the rental. Tesla vehicles can be charged at nearby Supercharger stations located at Ellenton Premium Outlets and University Station.
What if I need to return the vehicle late?
If you anticipate returning the vehicle later than the agreed time, it's required to update the rental period in the Turo app as soon as possible. Late returns that affect subsequent reservations may result in additional fees. Please manage your time accordingly to respect other renters and avoid any penalties.
Who covers the cost for charging and tolls?
All charging costs and tolls incurred during your rental period will be billed to you after your trip concludes. Turo allows us to review the trip's details and request reimbursement for these expenses through the app.
